Korsah’s Asante charities is a foundation that mainly covers 3 projects. These projects are programmed to support the livelihood of both men and women, mainly low-income individuals from different parts of rural areas in Buikwe District, Uganda. We emphasize on financial and mental health wellness.
We care and we stand to make a difference.
Due to none or limited out-patient therapeutic services, Korsah’s Asante charities is building an out-patient facility for continuous counseling services if needed. We shall hold group counseling sessions, one-on-one sessions and therapeutic activities to try and solve Mental Health Relapse.
This project is mainly focusing on growing small businesses of Arts and Crafts, to improve on financial independence, create income to the less privileged families. The proceeds go back to mostly single mothers or parents with low income support their basic needs.
Most rural areas have huge problems with water supply, residents have to walk miles to fetch water from boreholes, some of which have pathogens and harmful to mankind. We come in to build water reserves like tanks, dig more boreholes that are safe and close to the families for easy access.
